Capstone 6: Product Launch Campaign
Goal: Execute one real (or fully rehearsed, if pre-launch) Reddit product launch following FORKOFF's phased cadence, targeting a measurable launch-week pipeline multiplier against a cold-launch baseline.
Prerequisite stages: 04-stage4-leadgen-launches.md in full; 03-stage3-humanized-content-community.md (voice); 01-stage1-foundations.md (ethics line).
Weekly milestones: Week 1 subreddit-native prep, identify the correct venue (e.g., r/startups' Feedback Friday and Share Your Startup threads, which route standalone launch posts out and require flair) and draft a numbers-or-story-angle post, never a feature dump; Week 2 launch week, posting and replying to every comment inside your speed targets; Week 3 follow-up posts and an AMA request sent to relevant mods; Week 4 compile results against a cold-launch baseline.
Deliverables: full launch post text; a launch-week engagement log; a comparison of Reddit-sourced signups against another channel you also ran; documentation of your AMA request (sent, whether or not approved, remember roughly 70% of AMA requests are rejected, usually for reading as promotional).
| Criterion | Points |
|---|---|
| Launch prep and subreddit fit (correct venue, correct format, flair followed) | 20 |
| Post quality (numbers/story angle, not a feature announcement) | 20 |
| Launch-week response discipline (reply speed, comment coverage) | 20 |
| Measured pipeline result vs. baseline | 25 |
| Ethics (disclosure, zero vote-requesting, zero off-platform link-sharing for votes) | 15 |
| Total | 100 |
